Trick Or Treat |
Art Contest
| Ideal For 4-12 year-olds

Trick Or Treat Graphic

What will Trick or Treat inspire them to draw?

Hairy spiders. Friendly ghosts. Dancing skeletons. Haunted houses. Piles of candy. Or something else...

Trick or Treat is a national drawing contest for students aged 4–12.
A character, creature, animal, spooky scene, or completely original idea - let their imaginations run wild.
CREATE IT. ENTER IT. SEE IT IN PRINT.
Give your students the opportunity to become published young artists and see their artwork featured in a special Trick or Treat book series.
THEIR ART COULD BE A BOOK COVER
Our favorite drawing from each book will become that book’s title and front cover.
10 ARTISTS WILL WIN
10 winning artists will each receive an arts and crafts goody bag.
$1,000 FOR THE TOP SCHOOL OR CLUB
The school or club with the best set of drawings will win a $1,000 gift certificate of their choice.

WHAT COULD THEY CREATE?
There’s no single way to interpret Trick or Treat. Start with something spooky, silly, magical, or strange...
CREEPY CREATURES
Hairy spiders, bats, monsters, mummies, or something completely new.
MAGICAL CHARACTERS
Witches, friendly ghosts, witches’ cats, skeletons, or spooky faces.
SPOOKY PLACES
A haunted house, a creepy forest, or somewhere nobody would dare to visit.
TRICK-OR-TREAT FUN
Candy, costumes, decorations, strange food, or a Halloween party.
Or let them invent something completely their own. If the spooky theme inspires it, we want to see it.
EASY TO OFFER. FUN TO CREATE.
Use Trick or Treat however it works best for your students.
Run it as an art activity, share it with interested young artists, use it in an after-school or holiday club, or simply give students an entry form and let their imaginations take over.
